As our workforce ages and our workloads grow, it is critical to entice a new generation of employees to enter our industry. Interested in a career in the plumbing, pipefitting and HVACR? Visit our careers page.
Check out the CAMPC 2017 report, “Economic Impacts of the Construction Industry on the State of Colorado,” The loss of jobs during the recession, the anticipated retirement of many baby boomers, the lack of training for the next generation and the changing industry are all coming together to create a construction industry workforce shortage that will only get worse as the economy improves and more jobs are created.
CAMPC helps recruit enthusiastic new talent to our workforce. Our efforts include:
- Actively partnering with NECA and SMACNA
- Actively campaigning the opportunities within our business to high school and trade school students, as well as at community colleges and state universities.
- Providing member companies with resources and training to develop their existing management and craft employees.
- Supporting the MCAA Student Chapter of Colorado State University and the Construction Management program through annual scholarships and support to Construction Management students.
